For my current work, this translates into (a) testing communication strategies such as use of online video to alter an audience's perception of different research topics, and (b) understanding how bee diversity changes through time and urbanization using museum specimens. For my past research, this translated to understanding the processes and mechanisms behind ant-mediated seed dispersal of Neotropical pioneer tree species that do not provide visible food rewards for their ant dispersers.
